LINEART

All lineart drawings are sketched in pencil, inked with black felt-tip pens, and then cleaned up (and coloured, if you like) on the computer.
Those who commission a drawing will receive a zip file containing two images: one high-res image suitable for printing, and one image resized for easy viewing on the computer or online. I can also throw in one (simple) desktop wallpaper image, resized for your preferred resolution, at no extra charge.

(Again: I reserve the right to refuse commissions which may contain extremely explicit or illegal acts which I may find distasteful. If you are unsure... ask! I am generally an easy-going person and will be happy to answer any questions.)

HOW TO ORDER

  1. Send me a request email at laurel DOT ek AT gmail DOT com. Write "LV COMMISSION: LINEART" as your subject header.
  2. Include the following information in your email:
    • Whether you are requesting a Black&White or colour piece
    • How many characters you want drawn
    • What sort of background (if any)
    • A description of each character (and background if you want one)
  3. When I receive your email, I will fire back a reply with the price of your commission.

  4. Go to PAYMENT (at the bottom of this page) and click the button to access my PayPal.
    Under "Item Name," type "LINEART:" and your name (so I know it is you).
    Under "Unit Price," type the price I have given you.
  5. As soon as I have confirmed your payment, I will add your commission to my list, and will begin working on it as soon as possible.
  6. Before I ink your drawing, I will send you a scan of the pencils, so that you can make sure I am not making any horrible mistakes.

    (Please be specific in your descriptions. I will not want to have to go back and alter an image more than a couple of times.)

  7. IF YOU REQUESTED COLOUR
    I will send you a copy of the image in full colour before I send the final zip, just to ensure that I've gotten everything right.

    (Once again, please be specific.)

  8. When it is all done, I will send you a zip file containing:
    • High-res image, suitable for printing
    • Smaller image, for posting online (if you would like a specific size, let me know)
    • (IF YOU ASK FOR IT) One desktop-wallpaper-sized image (with your chosen resolution, ie 1024x768, etc)
